There is a flashback to when Obi kissed Folake at the palace and he told her he hadn't seen anyone with a mind like hers.
He then proposed that they get married.

In the present, Folake is screaming as the shed Obi was hiding in is burnt down.

Senami and Peace are with Medeyomi and Matron.

Matron tells Medeyomi that she has to be with Senami to protect her during the ceremony.

Medeyomi says Matron's powers will interfere.

Matron assures Senami that she will be with her somehow.

Senami leaves with Medeyomi and Peace.

The police from Lagos arrive Aji in vans 

Daddy Love and Fonton point to the Villagers involved in the riot and the police round them up.

Elder Johnde is also arrested.

He tells them that he's an elder.

He begs Fonton and Daddy Love to talk to the police on his behalf.

They accuse him of betraying them to the Otogan of Jegba.

The police tell him to help them so they can, in turn, help him.

Senami is sitting in the grave.

Medeyomi gives her a liquid to drink.

Senami drinks.

She apologises to Peace for everything.

Peace looks worried.

Senami asks how long she would be buried for.

Peace says for 30 minutes.

Medeyomi blows a powder in Senami's face and she passes out.

Peace asks Medeyomi why she did that

Medeyomi says it's because Senami was afraid.

In the village square, the police inspector asks Johnde if he is ready to confess that he's the leader of the riot and responsible for the death of the corper.

Johnde says Otogan Hudeyin is responsible.

The inspector says they've been investigating Hudeyin on other matters.

Johnde says he can call him.

The inspector tells him to call Hudeyin over.

Johnde calls and places the call on speaker mode.

He tells Hudeyin that Obi has been caught by the police but they need the DNA test evidence that he has.

Sejiro sees Peace and Medeyomi covering the grave.

Peace asks Medeyomi what they will do with the hand.

Medeyomi says it's not about the hand but about setting Peace free.

Peace says no and starts digging up the grave.

Medeyomi tells her not to because Senami has to die for her to be set free.

Peace remembers Meghonu's words that Medeyomi will not stop till she has Aji in ruins and she will come for her and her baby.

She continues to dig up the grave.

Folake, Neza and Seye are at the police station to report what was done to Obi.

The villagers ask if Obi wasn't a corper.

Folake says he's not a scammer but an ordinary corper whom the villagers begged to become their chief.

The police ask for Senami.

Folake says she's at the shrine.

Neza says he can take them to her.

Akweyon runs into the house to meet Meghonu.

Meghonu is still frozen to the spot on her knees.

Akweyon says she doesn't have the powers to free her.

She closes her eyes and Zansi's name comes to her.

Otogan Hundeyin and his entourage come to Aji to check out the ruins and present the DNA result to the police.

The inspector accuses him of causing the riot.

They arrest him and his entourage.

Peace says she doesn't care about Medeyomi and what the gods are saying.

She continues to dig up the grave.

Medeyomi tells her to stop.

Peace says they turned her into a widow, into Mausi and made her a fool but they wouldn't turn her into a murderer.

Medeyomi tells her to stop.

Peace carries on.

Medeyomi closes her eyes.

Peace screams and drops the shovel she's digging with like she got burnt.

She tries to dig with her hands and she gets burnt again.

There is a flashback to when Mausi tied Akweyon up and didn't feed her just to teach her a lesson for trying to leave the shrine.

In the present, Matron walks in. 

Akweyon says she was coming to look for her.

Matron says she knows.

She holds Meghonu's hand and Meghonu comes alive.

Meghonu says they need to hurry to the shrine.

Matron holds both Akweyon and Meghonu's hands.

They all vanish.

Seye, Neza, Folake and two policemen come to the shrine.

Peace and Medeyomi are on the other side.

Peace tries to run away.

Matron, Meghonu and Akweyon appear.

Akweyon tells them that the police is around.

Meghonu says they can't deal with Medeyomi.

Medeyomi asks who will deal with her.

Matron asks how Medeyomi got the power to tie Meghonu and what she collected where she went, after leaving Aji.

Medeyomi says what she collected will finish things.

Matron asks if she's sure she can handle what she collected.

Akweyon runs into the bush to pluck leaves.

Akweyon puts leaves in Neza, Seye and Folake's mouths.

Peace says Senami is dying.

Medeyomi says she should let her die.

There is a loud roaring sound and Medeyomi doubles over, holding her stomach.

Peace rushes to her and asks Matron what she has done.

There is a flashback of the time Peace asked Medeyomi what she knows about her.

Medeyomi said she came to help her 

Peace didn't believe her and ordered her to leave the shrine.

In the present, Peace begs them to free Medeyomi.

Meghonu says not yet.

Medeyomi packs some dirt from the ground and throws it at Meghonu and Zansi.

There is a loud roar and the earth shakes.

The policemen pass out on the floor.

Seye, Peace and Neza are spared because of the leaves in their mouths.

Peace stands up.

Meghonu and Zansi are passed out on the floor.

Medeyomi becomes dizzy.

Neza, Seye and Folake arrive the scene.

Akweyon helps Meghonu and Zansi up.

Folake starts digging up the sand with her hands.

Senami is screaming from inside the grave. 

Seye and Neza join Folake in digging.

They bring Senami out.

Medeyomi hurls some sand at the by the grave but Peace stands in her way and it hits her.

Peace screams and clutches her stomach.

Meghonu asks Medeyomi if this is what she wants.

Medeyomi asks Peace why she stood in her way.

Peace says she's not a murderer.

She becomes really weak and slowly losing her life 

She asks if she can see Jonah on the other side.

Medeyomi tells everyone but Meghonu to leave. 

Meghonu tells Medeyomi that they can still save Peace.

Neza says Senami is a doctor.

Medeyomi tells Meghonu that the gods change the rules as they like but they can never change one which is, there has to be a sacrifice.

Three Akweyons appear and touch Peace. 

Peace stands up.

Medeyomi tells her to leave and never come back.

Peace asks what she's doing.

Seye, Senami, Neza and Folake take Peace away. 

Meghonu, Medeyomi and the Akweyons stand at the foot of the grave.

Medeyomi walks into the grave.

There is a flashback of when the three corpers arrive Aji and they meet Peace.

Senami, Folake Neza run out of the forest 

Neza pulls Sejiro out and they run together.

Seye carries Peace who is kicking and screaming out.

Zansi holds Meghonu as the Akweyons bury Medeyomi.

The Akweyons finish covering the grave.

They take off their masks and run off.

It's a new day in Aji.

The villagers come out to the village square.

A narrator says Aji is different.

Four years later.

Folake is having a book lunch.

The title of her book is Jemeji.

She talks about her experience in Aji.

Daddy Love is the Otogan and the free trade zone has brought prosperity to Aji.

Matron Zansi started a school for the girls who left the shrine and tries to show them another way.

Matron is shown in Aji, teaching the girls.

Dethin is one of the students. 

Senami surprises Folake by coming to the book launch all the way from Canada.

Folake hugs her tightly.

Sejiro is also in attendance with Neza.

She's all sophisticated and speaks proper English.

Neza is clean and in a suit.

His beard is neat.

He asks Senami how Oviyon is doing since he's been away for years.

Oviyon calls Senami on her phone.

It's a video call.

He apologises to Folake for not being able to make it to the launch.

He tells them to return his wife Senami to him the same way he sent her to them.

He gets a call on his other line and it's his mother nagging.

Peace and Seye arrive.

Peace is also all sophisticated and speaking proper English.

Senami is about to leave.

Folake's daughter runs up to her.

Obi walks in and Senami is shocked.

There is a flashback to the night of the riot.

Obi was able to escape from an opening at the back of the shed.

In the present, Senami calls him Obi.

He says his name is Marcus.

Senami says goodbye and goes into the elevator.
