Akweyon holds and leads her into the inner shrine.

Zosu and Tote watch from the bush.

At the clinic, Senami stutters as she tries to explain to Oye.
She says she can't give a simple answer because it's complicated.
Oye says she knows what complicated is and it's knowing the right thing to do and not doing it.
Senami says sometimes complicated is not just an excuse and if there a word to describe Aji, it's complicated.
Oye says she's not judging her but maybe warning her.
She says she would share something with her; she used to be the campaign manager for the most promising female gubernatorial candidate that Lagos had ever seen, they were the only women in a men's club and the men hated their guts because they were running around trying to change things and they made the same mistakes that Senami is making in Aji.
Senami asks what mistakes.
Oye says Senami's fighting them out in the open.
Senami asks what happened.
Oye says her boss got assassinated, her husband was nearly killed, she survived an assassination attempt herself and she lost her babies.
Senami opens her mouth.
Oye says she was stubborn and it didn't pay off.

Alabama stirs on the bed.
Oye asks about Senami's situation.
Senami looks confused.
Oye says from what she sees, Senami is one family member down and one murder attempt down; how much more does she have to lose?
Senami tries to respond.
Oye tells her not to stay, otherwise, she would lose her life or the life of someone she can't bear to live without and will regret it for the rest of her life

Peace is in the car with Jonah.
She's still bawling.

Folake enters the car and asks what happened.
Jonah says they learnt her father passed.

Folake tells Peace she's sorry.
Peace tells them to just take her back to Aji where they took her from because they have been chasing her since she got to Lagos.
Jonah tells Folake that Peace said she has been seeing people from Aji all other Lagos.
Peace cries harder and says she knows they wouldn't believe her.

Tote runs to Sewedo who is still lying on the ground.

Akweyon comes out from behind the curtain.

Tote runs off.

Akweyon picks up an egg and runs after him.

Zosu runs to Sewedo and takes him away.

Tote keeps running.
He stops when he sees Akweyon in front of him holding the egg.
He gets on his knees and begs her.

Obi meets Oye in front of the clinic and says he hopes her aid is feeling better.
She says she wouldn't exactly call Alabama her aid but he's better now.

He shows her the brochure and asks if the people would have to evacuate the entire trade zone area.
Oye says yes and Obi needs to explain how they will get compensated and how the project will benefit the village.
She says she knows it won't be easy but he has to make sure everybody is on board.

Senami and Ruffy bring Alabama outside.
Alabama starts flirting with Senami
Ruffy tells him to behave himself.

Alabama gets on his knee and asks her to marry him.
She tells him she's not exactly on the market.

Oye brings an envelope out of her bag and gives it to Senami.
Senami declines.
Oye says it's for the clinic.
Senami collects it and thanks her.
Oye tells her to remember she doesn't owe anyone anything, not even the dead and she's sure Senami's grandmother would agree with her.
Senami nods.
Oye says Senami looks like a tough cookie and the state could use a mind like hers.
She gives her a complimentary card and tells her to call when her NYSC is done and she's hoping Senami would leave by the end of the month.
Senami hugs her.

Oye and her people leave.

Fonton is sitting on the floor in his living room.
He is drunk and talking to himself.
He says he has said it so many times that he's sorry and he shouldn't have joined forces with Half-a-day and he hopes Half-a-day rots in hell.
He says he didn't know and he is sorry and doesn't want his people to send him away as Aji is his place.

Matron is watching him from the doorway.
She walks in and tells him it's enough.
Fonton tells her to help him beg them to forgive him.
She pulls him up from the ground and tells him to go inside and rest.

Jonah brings Peave and Folake back to a Aji.
Peace jumps out of the car and runs off.

They try to call her back but she ignores them.

Folake suggests to Jonah that he gives Peace some space for a while.
Jonah blames himself for finding the guy who gave them false hope.
Folake tells him that Peace would have done exactly what she wanted even without his help so he shouldn't blame himself.

Seyive is sitting in front of their new place which is a little more than a hut.
Neza comes to meet her.
She ignores him and he begs her.
She asks if this was what he promised them? She and her sister are touts at the motor park just so they can feed.
Neza says he's trying his best and it's not his fault.
Seyive says he took them out of Aji where she has a job.
He asks what she wants.
She says if he can't get a job then she would return to Aji with Akweyon.
She walks away.
Neza mumbles to himself then lights a stick of marijuana.

A man approaches him.
Neza looks up at him then he screams and flees.

The man calls Sesinu and introduces himself as one of the police officers.
He informs her that he just saw Neza jn Wesere.

Sonayan tells Dr Jide that she doesn't like what's going on and anything could have happened to Sewedo.

Zosu brings Sewedo.

Sonayan takes him and screams when she sees the 3 long and deep cuts in his back...

Dr Jide asks Zosu about the other thing.
Zosu says it's been taken care of.
Dr. Jide gives him the balance of his payment.

Tote is at the shrine, kneeling before Akweyon.
Mausi comes out and gives him a slap.
He falls down and gets back up.
He's bleeding from the mouth.
Mausi asks who sent him..
He says it's Dr Jide.

Daddy Love and Johnde are in the palace.
Obi asks for Fonton.
Johnde says Fonton's drunk but they can carry on without him.
Daddy love asks if there is any update from the government.
Obi says they've asked him to compile names or people with lands and houses from some areas.
He starts listing them and Daddy Love says he has plenty of farmlands in one of the areas.
Obi continues and mentions the last area as 'Ajarabego.'
The elders gasp.
Johnde says that's an abomination.
Obi asks why.
Daddy Love says Ajarabego is the seat of Mausi's shrine.
