Dr Jide walks in and Seye gives him the news on Sesinu.
Dr Jide says it's fantastic news as the doctors in Lagos can afford to do so much because of all the facilities they have.
Seye says he hasn't forgotten the conversation they had yesterday about funding the clinic.
He asks for Senami.
Dr Jide informs him that Senami is not around.
Seye is about to call her.on the phone.
Dr Jide tells him not to mention anything about the clinic funding to Senami as she has been through a lot.
Folake and Obi are cuddling in bed, fully dressed.
Folake says she can't believe Peace cursed their baby.
Obi says nothing will happen to their baby.
Folake says she has a feeling Peace caused Sesinu's accident too.
He asks if she saw her.
Folake says she saw his mother in the village.
He tells her to stay away from her because his mother is a snake.
She says she doesn't know what she will do if her child rejects her.
Obi says she doesn't know his family.

Senami is still passed out on the bed.

He says he understands.
She asks if he really understands like it was his sister who had an accident or he's the one who can't leave town.
Neza says it was his driver who knocked Sesinu over and he was in the vehicle.
Senami slaps him.
He says he's sorry.
She slaps him again and says she can't blame him because they used him like they used Kingsley.
She breaks down in tears.
He holds her.
Matron is in the clinic looking torn.
Fonton enters and says she sounded desperate on the phone.
Matron asks if he heard about the accident.
Fonton says he heard.
Matron says she feels so bad.
A palace attendant comes to inform them that Otogan and the council of elders want to come and see Senami.
Matron tells him that Senami has gone home.
Fonton says he's also an elder and the attendant should inform Senami to go to the palace and also to tell the elders that the meeting will be at the palace.
The attendant leaves.
Fonton asks Matron if there is more to why she looks sad.
Matron says she promised Iya Minasu that she will take care of her grandchildren but she failed.
Fonton says Matron was very young when she came to Aji and he has even forgotten what brought her.
Matron says he doesn't understand.
He asks how she was supposed to know that Sesinu was going to get knocked down when she's not a witch or one with supernatural powers.
Matron doesn't respond.
Folake sees Sejiro in the village and stops to ask if she heard what happened to Senami's sister.
Sejiro says Iya Oviyon told her.
Folake asks if she didn't foresee it since it's her people that made it happen.
Sejiro looks confused.
Folake asks why she didn't leave Aji after Seyive died.
Sejiro asks where she would go.
Folake begs her to take off the curse that Peace has placed on her baby.
Sejiro looks uncomfortable and walks away.
The attendant comes to the lodge to inform Senami that she is needed at the palace.
She picks up her bag and walks ahead of him.
Seye comes to the palace to inform Obi that Sesinu is getting better.
Obi says that's good news.
Seye tells him it wasn't good news at the shrine.
He tells Obi of his encounter and says he is thinking the free trade zone might move to Jegba.
Obi says it wouldn't happen because he promised himself that he will bring good to the people of Aji and he wouldn't let the good go to Jegba people who are wicked.
Seye asks what they would do.
Obi says Seye has his permission to burn down the shrine or pull it down with bulldozers.
Seye asks if it wouldn't result in anything serious.
Obi says they have declared war on his family so he will do what he has to do.
Neza comes to see Sejiro at Iya Oviyons house.
He tells her that he took her advice and has told Senami the truth.
She asks how he feels.
He says he's relieved.
He hugs her.
Iya returns home and asks Neza why he keeps coming to her house.
He says he came to see Sejiro.
She tells him to see Sejiro outside and not inside her house.
He leaves.
Iya tells Sejiro not to let a man deceive her.
Sejiro goes in her knees to plead.
Iya tells her to get up.
She gives her the bag she brought from the market and tells her to prepare food.
Sejiro is happy once again.
Senami and the elders are at the palace.
Daddy Love says they can help her with whatever she needs.
Obi tells her that Seye said the swelling in her sister's brain has gone down.
Senami is relieved.
Obi offers to arrange a driver to take her to Lagos.
Senami thanks him but says she wouldn't be going to Lagos anytime soon.
At the shrine, Meghonu tells Peace that she's a disgrace just like her mother.
Peace warns her not to call her mother again.
Meghonu asks what's precious about a woman who abandoned her and her entire village.
Peace turns to leave.
Meghonu warns her not to turn her back because she's she's still her senior.
Peace says she's Mausi and she's the one with the power.
Meghonu says the power will be wasted if she allows the baby to live so they have to take it out.
Peace says Meghonu will have to kill her.
Senami walks in.
Meghonu asks if she has been listening.
Senami says she doesn't care about what's going on between them but she came for one reason and that's to ask where her father is.
Meghonu asks why she thinks they have him.
Senami says he came to Aji two days ago and he said he was coming to the shrine to see Mausi but when she called to tell him Sesinu was missing his phone was off and he's disappeared.
Meghonu insists they don't have him.
George Minasu can be heard shouting from a shed.
He asks who the person holding him hostage is.
He begs for water.
A woman comes out of the shed and locks it from outside with a padlock.
