It is not long before Mila has had enough and forms her own group full of women who will avenge her fallen gender. The streets will be full of vengeance and 'The Sword' will have walked the streets for the last time once Mila and her gang are finished with them. Reminiscent of SAVAGE STREETS (1984) except with more violence and alot more nudity, this is a film full of exploitation but wrapped in a story of strong female power. With its pulsating soundtrack, flashes of neon and big hair you would think you was watching a film from the 1980's. It is well cast, especially Mila Lynn played wonderfully by Delawna McKinney, who goes from a vulnerable entertainer to a man beating ass kicker. Popular porn star Ginger Lynn also makes an appearance as Roxy Carmichael. There is blood as you would expect in this sort of film but the kills are nothing new and are instantly forgettable, but the film is mainly about the story. The film plays like a late night marathon complete with bikini wearing host Stacy Monroe and her show All Nite Long , there is also a fake trailer for a film called SLASHLORETTE PARTY, which once you have seen it would wish it was a real film. Overall STREETS OF VENGEANCE captures the exploitative ways of low budget straight to video films from the 80's and early 90's but includes an important message for misogynists the world over.
