Hey, it's only about a year-and-a-half, or a year and two-thirds but whatever, after everyone else has already done this, but here we are - The 2016 Dellies. Of course, that means these awards are for films that came out during the calendar year 2016, going by the U.S. release date since that's where I live.
As always, since this is the "Dellies" (think deli, delicatessen - sigh, you're smart), each of the winners will receive the much coveted sandwich.
It should go without saying, but I'll say it anyway. These awards are entirely subjective. As a side note, don't look for a Best Picture award. In a couple days, I will (finally) publish my list of the best (and worst) movies of 2016. That means the "big one" here is for Best Director. Hold ya' horses, don't just scroll to the bottom.
