Streaming Movie-
  • I finally saw A Star is Born
  • It slayed my ass.
  • I will review it, of course, but for now let's just say I loved it. I cried at least ten times and the second to last editing cut made me bawl through the entire end credits.
  • I doubt any movie tops that, maybe Vice but that sequence where Cooper plays Out of Time as she is getting close to the stage, then the songs goes into Alibi and then they both sing Shallow was absolutely masterful.
  • I was laughing so hard at Cooper taking his shirt off every few scenes, like a life long alcoholic would have abs like this, come on, BCoop! Also that scene where he was taking care of her hand in the parking lot nearly killed me. I was swooning all over the place.
  • He cute.
  • Sam Elliott was great but I kinda see the point some people have that he has 10 lines and most of that is just saying "fuck". Still he would be a worthy winner- if William Hurt for A History of Violence is worthy a nomination then Elliott is definitely worthy of a win.
  • Vice premiered to great reactions with Christian Bale getting a lot of praise.
  • Yes, I made that gif.
  • BCoop is now sweating and poking pins in his voodoo doll.
  • And writing letters, apparently.
  • And sharing stuff like this.
  • So he puts one fire out and now I read The Mule may be very offensive....oh boy.
  • But then this happened and now Green Book's Oscar chances are dead in the ditch.
  • Honorary Oscars Ceremony happened last Sunday and the fashion was tragique:
  • Why is Gaga wearing that thing Grindewald conjured on the streets?
  • Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman feud now involves John Krasinski (1,2,3)
  • Yet another article on Queen Olivia. And another one!
  • God, I hope she peed on Bateman.
  • Birds of Prey has a new title
  • Steve Carell was pretty good hosting SNL and the beginning when some of his co-stars from The Office showed up demanding a reboot was a lot of fun. Claire Foy is hosting on December 1st and let's hope it's not yet another flop for her this year. Poor girl!
  • Disney has no chill.
  • HE IS SO SMALL AND FLUFFY!
  • What the fuck do I want a cat now?!
  • Just last week we were talking about Dumbo and now the Mouse throws this at us. This is gonna be the highest grossing movie of all time. I am sure of it. It's a CGI version of a beloved movie that features Beyonce.
  • Look at the poster - they don't even bother with putting the title there because they don't have to.
  • Crimes of Grindewald is really bad. Spoilers to follow- Tina has nothing to do. Nagini exists for lame fan service and she is only there for Credence's development which by the way ends in lamest twist in the franchise. Leta, the most interesting new character, dies for development of two male characters. Fan favorite from the first movie, Queenie is now a total moron who also might be insane. Oh and she is also obsessed with getting married and having kids and she is entirely irrational and men constantly need to explain things to her. Grindewald's henchwoman who looked like she may be interesting has nothing to do. Some nameless woman kills the baby because lol we can't have precious Johnny do it, can't we Joanne? Main character's new female helper has only one scene.
  • To sum up - JK Rowling is a misogynistic disgrace and a horrible writer.
  • The script is so bad WB giving Depp opportunity to become even more rich is not even the main issue with this. He must have chillaxed with booze and drugs while making this because he actually put some effort.
  • God's stepdaughter, Jude Law, score, baby nifflers and the feather thing are good. Redmayne managed to be likable in this one. And the creatures were so cute - it's a shame we didn't see more of them.
  • I saw The Contender this week and I thought I was in for some serious political thriller and the people who wrote the script for it probably thought that is what they wrote but it was just ridiculous. The actors were good, Bridges (who plays the President of USA) and Joan Allen were even Oscar nominated for it.
  • First Man was better than I expected it but really the strength of the movie is in two scenes - the launch of Apollo 11 and the landing on the Moon. Foy was good and Gosling was better than I thought he will be - he did more than just blink every once in a while. The movie only started being interesting me when that fire happened and that was well after the first half of it.
  • After watching A Star is Born I decided I needed to atone for swooning over BCoop and I watched Debug with Jason. It was so bad it made Wolves look like a masterpiece.
  • Aquaman fan event in Bejing. I have so many questions about Amber Heard's outfit:
  • What is this?
  • Why is backwards?
  • Why does she look like a hooker from The Mattrix or something?
  • Why does have stylist hate her?
  • Also - I cannot believe I am in love with a man who wears burgundy jacket with black pants and brown shoes.
  • Here's new TV spot!
  • Boo is already slaying in pre-sales!
  • Jason is gonna be on Graham Norton's show on December 14th!
  • This is some amazing detective work I am doing here. Man, I really hope it happens!
  • And now it's time for me to watch the entire season 3 of Frontier which just dropped on Netflix today! Pray for me.
  • Brittani and Geekteller review Widows
  • Sonia writes about Eastern Promises
  • Mario trashes original Halloween while reviewing the new one. I need to recommend Debug to him so that he watches it and that will be his punishment.
  • Dell writes about Tully
  • Katy reviews Crimes of Grindewald
  • Dan wrote a fantastic review of Suspiria
