Unfortunately the acting in this isn't really anything to boast about as it's very basic with very uninteresting dialogue however what it lacks in this department it makes up for in the cinematography, soundtrack and effects side of things. The soundtrack is fantastic and very effective. It has a great 80's slasher vibe to it with a strong John Carpenter influence which has been pulled off brilliantly with sublime incidental compositions. The use of blood, dread, masked strangers and good old fashioned practical effects are also pretty good. For a short it's effective with its only let down being the script but it is ok. Written, directed and composed by Sam Hodge who lists some great horror icons as his influences and inspiration for this movie shows that this is a horror movie made by a true horror fan.
