Greetings blog viewers, it gives me with great pleasure to announce that the nominations for this year's Oscar ceremony have been announced. Unlike the other ceremonies that have been previously hosted by celebrities, the 91st Academy Awards will be only the second ceremony without a designated host. The last time, the Oscars went without a host was in 1989.

I was shocked to discover that 'Black Panther' has earned the rare distinction of being the first superhero movie to ever receive the Best Picture nomination. Also, because of the mixed reviews it has received, I was quite surprised that 'Bohemian Rhapsody' has been nominated in the same category.
