BLOOD CRAFT ** USA 2019 Dir: James Cullen Bressack 94 mins
I like the fact that he tries different genres in his film making but this one didn't quite hit the mark for me. The two actresses that play the sisters Madeline Wade and Augie Duke were both very annoying and even Michael Welch didn't do a lot to improve things. Dave Sheridan as the minister did a pretty good job though and always Bressack makes a small comedic appearance. It was shot pretty well and as usual had a good soundtrack. Unfortunately you could see the twist reveal coming a mile off. The ending did make sense but it was a bit random and could easily have been done differently to have been more effective. The FX were great with a fair amount of blood and clever camera angles. I am still a fan of Bressacks movies but he has done better.
