I finally watched Toy Story 4 you know, for Keanu and all of the sudden Bill's voice came out of one character. I tried to escape for a moment and he still found me.

That was one cute movie. Forky was definitely MVP. All those moments he threw himself into trash? Yeah, I related to that.

I also watched Anna which was surprisingly not terrible. It was dumb as shit but it is an action movie and I don't expect smart scripts from this genre. Cillian Murphy was so hilariously bored and out of it through the entire film.

Speaking of Cillian, apparently Tom Hardy is back on Peaky Blinders. So I need to watch this now. Fucking hell, I have like 2 seasons to catch up.

Kevin Feige is gonna make a Star Wars movie. What the hell? They know there's already too many of these movies. Star Wars films used to be an event, now they're just another blockbuster.

New pictures from The Irishman. What in the fuck is that?! Those look like from that Steve Carell doll movie that bombed last year. The new trailer is much, much better, though. Pesci and Pacino de-aging looks fantastic but De Niro looks so weird, I think in part because of those contanct lenses.

I hated A Quiet Place but the love between Krasinski and Blunt is truly a lovely thing to behold.

Well, there goes my beard is for Stranger Things 4 theory.

There are people out there ridiculing those who realize what horrible potential for igniting violence this unnecessary Scorsese rip-off has. Are Defense Department and FBI idiots too? What kind of a person values movies and "creative freedom" more than people's lives? I guess the same type of a person who spews "lets separate art from the artist" nonsense and prioritizes their own enjoyment over everything else. There are "people" calling the families of the victims "stupid" over the Aurora situation. Have some shame, for the love of God.

And then there is WB releasing this statement. Funny because the trailer alone asks for sympathy for that character. Yes, shooting can happen at any movie. But you are living in a bubble if you think chances aren't higher here. An insecure male resorting to violence. That is not John Wick or Rambo. That is the lead here.

Keep this idiot talking, this is wonderful. He is gonna make this movie flop all by himself.

And isn't it crazy how this movie is getting more attention than the actual new Scorsese movie we are getting with genuinely fantastic, legendary actors? Come on!

Let's move on to happy things now.

I watched the newest Roast Comedy Central did, of Alec Baldwin. It was really funny and Robert De Niro's first lines were definitely the most hilarious part. Blake Griffin saying they all know how much De Niro loves black pussy was another highlight. I wish they did those more often! I also rewatched the one for Rob Lowe and that one was so funny too. Rob Riggle telling him that both his sex tapes had two other people in it and commenting "Good God, man....you can't even carry a sex tape" was golden.

Because delightful Sonia watched Barry - and loved it, which all of you should be watching by the way, for fuck's sake, people, come on!, she got to appreciate this story. It's "dicks" and "balls" that are bleeped, by the way.

Over the weekend I watched 90 minute long talk John Mulaney had with Bill about Barry. Well, it was supposed to be about Barry but it completely imploded and it was just them laughing and reminiscing about SNL. It was hilarious and if you wanna laugh you should check it out. Few clips (1,2,3,4). Is there anything more wonderful than this laugh?

This almost killed me too. Bless his kind heart for giving multiple warnings about it being awful.

I also watched 60 minute talk with him about Barry. I seriously can just listen to him talk for hours. And he has such great stories (1,2). I love that Bill is aware of what he doesn't know and asks people who do and he actually listens to his female writers. The domestic violence subplot in Barry is so well done. The way Barry gets angry whenever he hears of someone hurting Sally is probably the most attractive thing about his character.

God, I love this man.

Emmys! I know they always fuck reason in the ass but awarding Bandersnatch over Deadwood and not giving ronny/lily writing and directing wins is next level awful.

Bill did a wonderful job presenting and HE WON HIS SECOND EMMY FOR BARRY!

Poor thing was so tired at the Emmys. They just started writing season 3 of Barry. You would think after season 1 they will try to not write themselves into a corner but what they did in season 2 finale was even worse. They are so brave, they practically throw a grenade into the plot in the last moments of every finale. Problem is that now Bill and Alec are panicking about what to do, but I am certain they will come up with something brilliant.

I just hope now Bill is well-rested, hydrated and happy.

Because I am neither of those things lol.
