The client, his lawyer and two policemen are in Chuks and Ene's house.
They make Ene sign an agreement to pay the money.
Ene signs but says it's not an admission of guilt but to make peace.
She promises to transfer the money tomorrow.
Brenda meets Nosa's mother at the hospital.
Nosa's mother blames Brenda for not being with Kwame.
The doctor informs them that Kwame has food poisoning.
Shoshanna enters Ziggy's and ignores Shina.
He stops her and asks if she heard Ene was arrested.
Sho says she has to check up on her.
She sees Obiora and asks if it's true.
Obiora says Ene has made bail.
Shoshanna clutches her chest.
Obiora pats her on the back to console her.
Frank tells Obiora that they have work to do.
Shoshanna asks why Frank is trying to protect Obiora from her.
Shina is watching and seething
Sheila, Monica, St. John and Freddie are in the living room.
Freddie insists he's not going abroad.
Sheila insists he's going.
Monica says Sheila is not in a position make the decision.
Sheila says she wants what's best for Freddie.
They start arguing.
Freddie says that's the reason he doesn't want to go abroad; things are still tense around the house and he needs to look out for his mother.
Ego calls Sheila to ask for an update on Monica and the trial.
Sheila says she will have to call her back.
Bright enters Freddie's room and asks if he's really backing out or studying in America.
Freddie says it's true.
Bright asks if he knows how many people would kill for the opportunity.
Freddie says he is not going.
Bright says Freddie is privileged.
Freddie says he thought his mother was dead for half of his life.
Bright apologises.
Freddie says he wants to be alone.
The doctor informs Brenda and Mama that Kwame would soon be discharged.
He leaves the room.
Mama tells Brenda that one of her staff in the house might have tried to poison Kwame.
Brenda tells her that the girls were the same ones who helped plan Kwame's party and they're harmless.
Chuks apologises to Ene and takes the blame for encouraging Ene to partner with Ibuzor.
Ene says it's not his fault.
Shoshanna comes in and Ene tells her what happened.
She's asks for Ibuzor's photograph so she can circulate on social media.
Chuks tells her to take it easy.
Ene asks him if he's supporting his cousin.
Monica comes into Freddie's room.
She asks why he wants to pass up such an opportunity for her.
Freddie says he can go to a private University in Nigeria.
Monica says he will be going to the US.
Freddie says it they force him then it would be the last time they see him.
Next morning, Brenda and Mama are feeding Kwame.
Serena, Aisha and another lady report for work.
Serena tries to touch Kwame but Mama tells her not to.
Brenda asks them what they ate around Kwame because he had food poisoning.
They all deny giving him any food but they look uncomfortable.
Serena comes to meet Brenda in her bedroom.
She tells Brenda that she appreciates and respects her as her boss but she was really hurt by the things she said to her concerning Kwame.
Brenda thanks her for letting her know but says she doesn't care because Serena always makes things about her.
She asks why the other girls didn't come to her.
Serena says it's because she's the one who is Brenda's friend.
Brenda says Serena or all people should understand seeing as she made such a fuss over Alexis when she was on set.
Serena says it's not the same thing.
Brenda says it's the same and even with all she's dealing with now, Serena still has to make everything about her.
Monica comes to complains to Sheila.
She says she didn't realise Freddie was this stubborn.
Monica says they need to get him to school abroad and she's not too proud to ask for Sheila's help.
Sheila says they will get through it together.
She informs Monica of Ego's call.
Monica agrees to meet with Ego but asks if Sheila cam come with her.
Sheila says she doesn't want to meddle
Monica pleads with her to come.
Sheila says she will be there.
Shoshana and her mother are having lunch at Ziggy's.
Her mother says she now sees Shoshanna is a good actor so she's no longer insisting that Sho goes to the University but Sho must enrol in acting school.
Shoshanna says she can't go to any school and miss auditions.
Her mother insists
Shoshanna says she's grown and can make her own decisions.
Her mother says the acting school is off the table and Sho must return to the university.
Brenda is at home.
She makes a call to an estate agent to rent an office space for two weeks.
The agent gives her a fee that Brenda says is too high.
Brenda's lawyer calls to tell her that the insurance company executives have agreed to meet with her.
Ego comes to Sheila's house to meet with Monica and Sheila.
She tells Monica that it won't be an easy trial as she would be asked a lot of questions, even about the sexual encounters.
Monica says they were not encounters, they were rape.
She stands up and pushes Ego out of the way as she storms out of the room.
Sheila says this was what she was trying to avoid.
